Cincinnati Kids (National Alliance Soccer League)

From Ohio History Central

The Cincinnati Kids is a professional indoor soccer team from Cincinnati, Ohio. The team is one of the founding members of the National Alliance Soccer League, which formed in 2005. As of February 2006, the league has not begun play. Unlike in most leagues, rather than having teams play in their home cities for at least some of their games, all squads will play their games at the Orleans Arena, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The league will sponsor two games, seven Sundays in a row. All profits from the league are to be donated to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Las Vegas, Safe Nest, and the Lied Animal Shelter. Previous to the creation of the National Alliance Soccer League, another team known as the Cincinnati Kids played in the Major Indoor Soccer League for a single season (1978-1979).
