The Cleveland Blues was a professional baseball team from Cleveland, Ohio. The team played for six seasons (1879 to 1884) in the National League, a professional league. The Cleveland Blues attained their best league finish in 1880, finishing third, with a record of forty-seven wins and thirty-seven losses. The Cleveland Blues ceased to exist after the 1884 season, although another team by the same name began to play in the American Association, another professional baseball league, in 1887.
