Where in the World is Ohio?

From Ohio History Central

Historically, Ohio's geographic location made it an important American crossroads. Early settlers developed major transportation routes between Lake Erie to the North and the Ohio River to the South. Also, a major east-west transportation route developed between Pittsburgh to the East and the Mississippi River to the West. Both of these routes crossed in Ohio.
