The Allen County Museum is located in Lima, Ohio. The museum contains exhibits on history, natural history, science, and art. Its collections are especially strong in Lima's history. The Allen County Museum also contains the world's largest collection of albino animals. Perhaps the museum's most unusual exhibit is over one hundred objects that the patients of Dr. Walter Yingling and Dr. Estey Yingling swallowed. The items include such unusual items as a diaper pin, a lengthy piece of rubber hose, and a set of dentures. The Allen County Museum is the only county museum in Ohio accredited by the American Association of Museums.
