The Cincinnati Sizzle is a women�s professional football team from Cincinnati, Ohio. The squad plays in the National Women�s Football Association (NWFA). This league formed in 2000, although its first regular season did not occur until 2001. The league is the largest and fastest growing women�s professional tackle football organization in the world. The Sizzle joined the NWFA for the 2005 season as an expansion team. The squad struggled in its first season, winning only two games and losing six.
