The Columbus Solons was a professional baseball team from Columbus, Ohio. The team played for three seasons (1889-1891) in the American Association, a professional league that lasted from 1882 to 1891. At least twenty-five different teams played in this league over the course of the American Association�s existence. The Columbus Solons finished sixth in the league in 1889 and 1891 and second in 1890. With the end of the American Association after the 1891 season, the Columbus Solons ceased to exist.
