The Dayton Wings was a professional basketball team in Dayton, Ohio. The team played in the World Basketball League (WBL), which formed in 1987 as the International Basketball Association. The league consisted of teams from across the United States, Canada, and Europe. The organization also limited players to being no taller than six foot five inches, although officials raised the height by two inches in 1992. The Dayton Wings
