{ The second major glacial advance during the Pleistocene Ice Age is the Kansan glaciation. A small area in the Cincinnati area of southwestern Ohio has deeply weathered sediments that may have been deposited by the Kansan glacier or perhaps an earlier one. Due to the uncertainty of the age of these ancient sediments, they are generally called pre-Illinoian glacial deposits. [[Category:{$topic}]]
