Located in Ripley, Ohio, the Ripley Museum commemorates the community's past.
Established in 1976, the Ripley Museum is located in a federal style house, which dates to the 1850s. Today, the museum consists of ten rooms, with each room having its own themed display. The museum contains more than six hundred items that detail life in Ripley during the nineteenth and the first part of the twentieth centuries. Among the Ripley Museum's most notable pieces is a Valley Gem piano, which was manufactured in the community during the 1870s. The museum also contains a genealogy library.
