Winchester Works Mound is located in Adams County, Ohio near the community of Winchester.

The mound is located approximately 1.2 miles north of Winchester on private property, but people can view the Winchester Works Mound from State Route 136. The mound is now heavily wooded, which has helped to preserve it. Purportedly three additional mounds existed nearby the surviving Winchester Works Mound, but agricultural plowing and road construction have obliterated these other structures. Archaeologists have not thoroughly investigated the Winchester Works Mound, and they have not attributed this mound to a specific cultural tradition. The mound's location would suggest that it was a product of either the Adena or the Fort Ancient cultures.
